Activex control for mac powerpoint 2011

VBA in PowerPoint / Mac vs. Windows

WebDAV support

I have PowerPoint for Mac. I purchased a not work in PowerPoint. If you save this presentation, the ActiveX controls will be removed. I swap PPT files between mac and pc often without a problem. Since this file is calling or an ActiveX control, there may also be some VBScript.

If however you need complete freedom for the presenter to enter any number then this is not possible with PowerPoint on-slide shapes in the same way that it is with Active-X controls. You could add a macro to the number text box shape that pops up an InputBox for the presenter to enter a number that way and then have tour macro code process it and display it in the text box shape.

ActiveX on Mac

If you simply want to check manually then Active-X control code appears in slide objects in the VBE as opposed to the Module or Class project containers. I think you could also right-click an Active-X control in design mode and see the Properties menu which does not appear for non-Active-X objects but I can't be sure as I don't have access to my Windows VM right now. If you are the only person creating the project then Active-X controls are inserted from the Developer tab whereas standard PowerPoint shapes are inserted from the Insert tab.

All is clear, Just one question Which textbox if I cannot use Active X? However, since you cannot name shapes, how can I know which number goes to what shape? Not desirable, but do shapes have Left and Top properties, so I can distinguish their positions? Unless there's a better way?

If so then yes, just create the button using a standard PowerPoint shape instead of an Active-X control and then assign the macro to that shape.
